Steve Kaufman,
Acting CEO

Background

Mr. Steve Kaufman is an Operating Partner for Riverside Partners, a private equity firm. Previously, Mr. Kaufman was President and CEO, and earlier COO, of Avici Systems Inc., now Soapstone Networks (NASDAQ:SOAP), a telecommunications equipment company. Earlier, he worked at Lucent Technologies, now Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU), in various general management roles, most recently serving as President of the Multiservice Core Networks division, a $2 billion business. Additionally, Mr. Kaufman worked for Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) in various marketing management roles on the Pentium processor product family. He serves on the boards of Quantum Medical Imaging, Maxvision, SIXNET, and One Laptop Per Child. Mr. Kaufman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude, from Brown University, a Master of Business Administration degree, with distinction, from Harvard Business School, and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Today

As Acting CEO of Alteris Renewables, Steve will be charting the course for the Alteris Renewables business and assuring exemplary business practices are evident throughout the company.

Ron French,
President

Background

Ron French has a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School, along with 27 years of corporate management experience. Ron's noteworthy strategic planning, business development and fiscal management skills won him senior executive positions at several Fortune 500 companies such as Apple Computer, MCI Tele-communications, Merck-Medco, Metromedia Fiber Network, and WebMD. Ron is now applying the best-in-class business practices he helped shape at those companies, to Alteris™ Renewables, as its President. He is following his passion to influence environmental change by developing the renewable energy marketplace.

Today

Ron has cultivated strategic alliances with premier solar manufacturers to assure a total quality management offering to all Alteris™ Renewables clients. Product excellence, sound management practice, delivering customer value and exceeding expectations are now the guiding principals of Alteris™ Renewables under Ron's management.

Leigh Seddon,
Vice President
of Engineering

Background

Leigh Seddon is the Solar Engineer and Energy Economist who founded Solar Works, Inc., in 1980. Leigh has served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Agency for International Development, as well as an advisor to the World Bank to design and implement solar development programs. As an adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont, Leigh Seddon lectured on policy and solar technologies. Leigh is a published author of a variety of articles on photovoltaics, energy efficiency and energy conservation. He is a founding member of Renewable Energy Vermont (REV) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Vermont Public Interest Research Group (VPIRG).

Today

Leigh Seddon remains at the forefront of the renewable energy industry and emerging technologies. In his role, heading the Engineering function at Alteris™ Renewables he applies all of his knowledge to assure an unparalleled design and engineering experience for Alteris™ Renewables clients.

Tim Seamans,
Chief Operating Officer

Background

Tim Seamans has a Business Administration degree and a history of over 25 years of executive management experience in finance, information technology and the business operations disciplines. As the Chief Financial Officer for Quelsys, he led the restructuring, recapitalization and merger of the company. As the CFO/CIO of Uniscribe, he managed all aspects of finance and product development for the $100 million dollar company. Tim was the VP and General Manager of Professional Services for Spyglass, an internet browser pioneer. As the CIO of Pitney Bowes Management Services, he managed two, $100 million dollar acquistions and was key to the development and $500 million growth of the division.

Today

As Chief Operating Officer of Alteris™ Renewables, Tim is focused on the operational capabilities of the company including project management, project installation, product procurement, inventory management, logistics and the strategies for information technology.

Robert Chew,
President
Wind Division

Background

Bob Chew has a long history of professional excellence in the remodeling and renewable energy industries. He was recognized as the "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Providence Business News in the 2007 Business Excellence Contest for his work in solar energy. Bob Chew has been a renewable energy entrepreneur since 1977 when he incorporated his first solar energy company, R.W. Chew Co., Inc. He ran R.W. Chew, Co. for nineteen years prior to starting SolarWrights, Inc., which merged with Solar Works, Inc., to form Alteris™ Renewables in autumn of 2008. He is an NABCEP Certified Solar Thermal Installer and is a RI licensed Master Pipefitter and a CT Licensed Solar Technician. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from New England College and was among the first in the country to study this interdisciplinary subject.

Today

Bob Chew serves as President of the Wind Division. He is applying his former experience to expanding and growing the Wind Electric services of Alteris™ Renewables.

Paul Raducha,
Chief Financial Officer

Background

Mr. Raducha is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Rhode Island Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs and Financial Executives International. He graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Accounting. He started his career working for KPMG Peat Marwick International in the Pittsburgh and Hartford offices. Mr. Raducha has worked on several start-up ventures in addition to mature organizations as the Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Raducha is an avid outdoorsman and, in 2002, hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.

Today

Paul now serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Alteris Renewables. In his role he will be focusing on Alteris™ Renewables' forward growth, fiscal responsibility and value opportunities for Alteris customers.

Mark Nelson,
Vice President of Business Development

Background

Mark joined SolarWrights in 2006 as VP of Business Development. He was on the SolarWrights' Board of Directors as the company rapidly expanded operations in the region. Mark has a BA in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Prior to joining SolarWrights, Mark was employed from 1999 to 2006 at Heartlab, Inc. a Rhode Island based cardiology information management company. As Director of Service and Delivery, Mark developed and oversaw Heartlab's rapidly growing customer service operations. During the years 2000 through 2004, Heartlab was renamed as an Inc. 500 fastest growing company. Prior to Heartlab, Mark worked from 1988 to 1998 at Digital Equipment Corporation as an information systems consultant, where he supported operations for DEC's customer service business unit.

Today

As the Vice President of Business Development, Mark is responsible for Alteris Renewables new market and service development, and strategic manufacturer relationships.
