Chapman Construction

“We see our green mission as going beyond our employees, to our clients and to each of the communities we affect. With our building's LEED renovation and highly visible photovoltaic panels, I believe that we can illustrate the benefits of looking beyond first costs and instead consider the impact of a building throughout its life cycle.”

John Hall, Chapman President

Chapman Construction/Design is a construction management firm with a focus on green building. Seeking to make its business as green as possible, Chapman installed a 46 kW PV system as part of the Platinum LEED- CI renovation of its corporate headquarters. The two story flat roof building is made up of 3 sections. Chapman’s offices and some tool storage space are located in the back two-third’s of the building. A retail business rents the front third. The PV modules will be mounted as five sub arrays. Each sub-array is tilted at 45 degrees.
