Country Curtains

“At Country Curtains, we have always been concerned about saving our natural resources and reducing waste -- it’s just good business. So Jack and I are thrilled that we will be able to produce electricity from solar panels on the roof of our main warehouse in Lee.”

Jane Fitzpatrick, co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Country Curtains

Country Curtains, a flagship business of Berkshire County, decided to investigate solar energy as part of its continued strong commitment to environmental responsibility. The installation continues an overall efficiency strategy including major upgrades of energy-efficient lighting and HVAC equipment and a strong and comprehensive recycling program within the organization. Country Curtains founders and Board Members realized that remaining competitive in a region with rising utility costs meant taking action locally. The solar panels will benefit the community in Berkshire County for years to come.
