Save the Bay

“The 20 KW photovoltaic solar array on the Save The Bay’s Bay Center roof has operated flawlessly from the day it was installed in May, 2005, by SolarWrights, now Alteris Renewables. The total “turnkey” approach taken on our installation is something Save the Bay intends to never take for granted. And the overall expertise brought to our project by Alteris Renewables is now the standard by which any future renewable energy projects on our site will be judged.”

Mike Russo, Facilities Manager

Save The Bay is committed to fostering a personal connection between people and Narragansett Bay and encouraging investment in the Bay’s future. Save The Bay and its supporters are an active force in southern New England, working to protect, restore and explore Narragansett Bay and its watershed. As part of demonstrating their commitment, Save the Bay hired Alteris Renewables to install a 20kW solar electric system at their award-winning Save the Bay Center.
