United Natural Foods extended it’s environmentally responsible initiatives by installing the largest solar electric system in New England. They chose Alteris™ Renewables as the company to design, engineer and install a 550 kW PV system on the roof of their state-of-the-art distribution center. The system will save the company $65,900 in the first year alone and eliminate over 14,000,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide over the life.
