How It Works
Wind turbines create electricity by harnessing the energy of wind and transforming it into a consumable form of energy; electrons. As the wind blows and turns the blades of a wind turbine, they spin an electric generator, which generates Direct Current (DC) electricity. The DC current is fed into a power converter and turned into Alternating Current (AC) electricity for commercial consumption. In all cases the end result is clean renewable energy that is produced as long as the wind is blowing.
