Hopkinton High School was one of the first schools to participate in the “Solar on Schools” program initiated by Alteris™ Renewables to demonstrate the educational, economic and environmental benefits that solar technologies offer schools and communities.Their 2kW PV solar system has been generating 2980 kw a year, reduces CO2 emissions by about two tons annually and has been integrated into the school’s science curriculum.
