Mystic Seaport Museum

“Our new Solar Electric System is now installed. We sure appreciate the timely and effective support that Alteris™ Renewables has provided during the final design, permitting and installation process.”

Bill Parent, Project Manager, Williams-Mystic Project

The Mystic Seaport Museum took advantage of the support offered by the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund to install a photovoltaic solar system on their new building. They asked Alteris™ Renewables to engineer and install their 17 kilowatt system. To assure maximum efficiency, Alteris™ Renewables recommended 80 SunPower modules. The system will produce 21,000 kWh of electric energy each year—and when the building doesn’t need the power, it will be sent back to the utility for credit on the museum’s account.
